Nearly 80 per cent of detached houses have a wooden frame. Wood is also used in structures, windows, doors and finished surfaces.  Development efforts have particularly focused on large-scale timber construction and on enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings. National wood building programme in Finland The Wood Building Programme: is a joint government coordinated by the Ministry of the Environment aimed at increasing the use of wood in urban development, public buildings as well as large constructions such as bridges and halls. What is a sustainable house?  a sustainable house as you may  already think are safetier  for our environment and nature using onlyshort, less waste, more re-used materials and recycling products. That implies having a nicer health and nature life, that we all expect to have and live in. How can you start having a sustainable house? : -Solar pannels: absorb sunlight as a source of energy to generate direct current electricity. MATERIALS FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION

1-  Straw bales:  are a remembering of the days when we build our own from natural and locally-sourced materials. Instead of relying on technology and modern materials, we use what the earth provides. Straw bales are used to replace concrete, plaster, gypsum, and other building materials in walls. They have a high insulating ability. As a renewable resource, straw is both sustainable and affordable. 2- Bamboo:  the recent tendency of using bamboo for furniture and utensils may make it seem trendy, but it has been used in construction for millennia. Its combination of light weight and tensile strength, that makes it an ideal replacement for expensive imported materials and an alternative to rebar and concrete construction, especially in areas with easy access to local bamboo. 3. Recycled Plastic:  recycled plastic is starting to be one of the more sustainable construction materials. Instead of using new plastic that would affect badly to the environment , research...
